Polly Isabella grew up just outside London spending her early years as a serious child gymnast only to have an accident that made her lose her nerve for hair raising stunts. She continued to excel in other sports and found her passion for art whilst at school and a bit of an eye for business. Her and her best friend Emma started a small business braiding girls hair and making friendship bracelets at their boarding school in their teens. At college she enjoyed photography and ceramics most, making giant art nouveau style pots from clay and firing them in pastel colours. Her love for alternative style and accessories became apparent in her creative personal looks.

Polly studied design and fashion technology for a couple of years before gaining her degree in Design, marketing, design development (footwear/accessories) at Cordwainers, London college of fashion. It was evident that Polly had a flair for handbag design when she won student accessories designer of the year award at the UK footwear awards 2002 at the Dorchester hotel. This is what gave her the confidence to go on and start up her own accessories label as well as designing a collection of handbags for rock and cobbler legend shoe designer Terry de Havilland. Polly adores him and his wife Liz who have given her endless support in her career thus far.

Polly has gained some fantastic celebrity clientele and has had one of her pieces auctioned for charity at an exclusive party hosted by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. Recently her bags were paraded down the catwalk at the annual Barts fashion show in aid of the British lung foundation. Polly is spending her time currently gaining inspiration for the accessories label to bring you a brand with a difference.
